Original poster records over 9mins of the middle of side A with a section from the end of the show. Of that segment, I am missing 3:25 of it. At the very start of my recording, there's a tiny snippet of something that I rewound back over - this could be from the dotted section above, or from that 3:25 gap

 

My clip had to be transposed 0.95 to match the pitch, i.e. recording should be 5.18% faster

I received this tape dated 27th Dec 1996 however voiceover on tape suggests a NYE special next week... with guests in studio.

 

Marcus_Barnes has posted the Fabio & Grooverider Christmas and New Years shows on soundcloud and has dated the first show 27th December 1996. They start talking about what they had for Christmas dinner at one point, so it looks like the date on your tape is definitely correct. There are a couple of additional tunes on this rip as well.

Ok if this is what you are saying then I relinquish to your good judgement! The next tape I have has got 3rd Jan 1997 written on it from as far back as I remember but thinking about it its probably likely that I was still out partying for the christmas season and so wouldn't have begun taping till the following week after.

 

EDIT: Checking through my notes it never had a date on it - it was only ever a best guess

 

That "Twister" tune - I didn't realise it was an unreleased version, I always thought it was the one on FORM12070. I don't like it much so thats probably why I didn't pay much attention. The one deepinside posts here appears to be different again

Ok this is where it starts to get tricky, as most of what I have now is just edited highlights which I done around 99/2000. Also some quality was lost due to the auto-reverse not playing properly on my deck
