I've only got an hour and six minutes of the show. On this recording, there seems to be a cut between the interview and the One In The Jungle set. I'm not sure if this was a glitch during the broadcast, or whether there's part of the show missing in between.

There's an event rundown around 89 minute mark, Grooverider mentions Swerve at Velvet rooms on the 23rd. I think Swerve was always on wednesdays? So that would put the show's date to 19 June maybe? I can't quite make out what's he saying right before 23rd.

I'm glad i caught this show, otherwise i'd never have known about that Mile High Express Remix. I stayed on a farm in Namibia a few years back, where i rented a big dobsonian telescope. I was listening to that track while looking at the Magellanic Clouds in Dorado and Tucana, and galaxies in Fornax, Sculptor, Horologium and Reticulum.....and man it just seemed perfect. Sounds like it was the perfect track for stargazing. Listening to that tune feels like you are in outer space

 

I IDed some of the tunes. That DJ Suv remix of Brand New Funk sounds different from the released one. I wonder if Suv made 2 remixes of it, this one remaining unreleased. Grand Unified - Le Hot should be the original not the 99 remix if I'm not mistaken. And the Mile High Express remix by P Method seems to be unreleased Love that tune. Checked P Method's Discogs, not a very long discography.

That last voiceover would put the date to 3rd of October 1998, since that Pure Science event was going to happen week later.

I got the date from the comment saying they'd gone to the Movement birthday party the previous night (7th January 1999) and Grooverider saying Mickey Finn was going to phone in on his way back from Bournemouth (he played at Cocoshebeen in Bournemouth on 8th January 1999).
