There's an uncredited track on Side D of this record that has been bothering me for quite a while, esp. considering it is (imo) probably the best track on the album.

 

I have just listened through some clips of the CD and at last I can identify what it is!

 

So:

A. John B - Sight Beyond

B. John B - Slam Funk (DJ SS & John B Remix)

C. John B - Jazz Session (Volume 2: Club Mix)

D1. John B - Starburst (v1.1)

D2. John B - VCF

...

 

I've also identified another track on the CD that Fabio & Grooverider were playing of his in 1997 & said wasn't coming out - "Voltage Control"

Just noticed Sight Beyond on this is a remix... as per the LP sampler (not in the database). Imagine would be same with the CD.

Ok lets get this 100% correct - I did not check properly on my first post above. Starburst 1.1 does not appear anywhere on the album.

 

The two tracks are as per the other LP sampler. Unless what I have is a mispress and later editions do feature the Starburst track??

 

Corrections to tracklist should look like this:

A. John B - Sight Beyond (Remix)

B. John B - Slam Funk (DJ SS & John B Remix)

C. John B - Jazz Session (Volume 2: Club Mix)

Which sampler isn't in the database? It would help if you could post it... The one you cross post from discogs in your last post is in rdb as nir12005.

 

I'm leaving NIRLP02 as it is for now until we can confirm what's going on with Starburst (eg, if you have a mispress).
