Super obscure release, but the B side is drum n bass, and we have Wrecked Angle in the RDB database, so it's worth an addition. Label: Akademia Catalog#: AKREC003 Format: Vinyl, 12" Country: UK Released: 02 Sep 2002 A: Mara - Heretic (Original Mix) B: Mara - Heretic (Wrecked Angle Remix)

  4. Without a doubt one of Drum & Bass? most successful and recognisable record labels, Good Looking has always stood for quality atmospheric and soulful music. With one of the scene?s living legends, LTJ Bukem, at the helm, the label erupted as a breath of fresh air upon the raw and irrepressible Rave scene in the early ?90s and has stood as a testament to how far across the globe well produced and thoughtful electronic music can reach. Of course, LTJ Bukem is still one of the world?s leading DJs and his career has seen him tour the length and breadth of the world spreading the Good Looking word wherever a set of decks and an up-for-it crowd can be found. And now, after a break from releasing music, Good Looking is ready to roll once more with a selection of exciting 12? singles from some of the freshest talent that musical Drum & Bass has to offer, and LTJ Bukem?s next long awaited instalment in the ?In Sessions? series is set to drop this autumn. First up will be a name familiar to any Good Looking fan, Furney. This artist dropped the awesome ?Drum Tools? on the flip side of the last Good Looking single (LTJ Bukem?s own ?Switch?), and here he comes again to provide you with some more silky smooth sounds with ?Pipez?, a track that features on the aforementioned ?In Sessions? CD recorded live from Exit Festival. Backing that up will be another of the scene?s leading lights, Utah Jazz, with the soul-fuelled ?Leap of Faith?, a track that cements his reputation as one of the hottest producers on the block right now. Following that will be another outstanding selection of split artist singles featuring Funktastics and Peyo, Soulmatic and Furney, Tayla and Ink & Perpetuum, and as you can see, the future is looking very good for the Good Looking camp. GLR 69 - Furney ? Pipez b/w Utah Jazz ? Leap of Faith GLR 70 - Funktastics ? Wild Willy b/w Peyo ? Old Times GLR 71 - Soulmatic- Self Belief b/w Furney ? Distance GLR 72 - Tayla ? Turn it around b/w Ink and Perpetuum ? Say Never Taken from Dogs On Acid
  5. Could it not be something of Dylan's or Dom and Roland's? The style is not too dissimilar to a lot of their '97 stuff if you listen to it!
  6. Hey all, I'm back on the scene for a bit. Was also looking for the first tune on the second part of the mix, which Krazy has titled as Samuel & Nasley - Emotional Thing... Well this doesn't seem to exist (unreleased I guess) but here are some other real nice bits from them, available as giveaway downloads
  7. I never got a chance to listen to all of the lovely unreleased bits . . . anybody know what happened to p2b?

    XLLP120PR

10" Release - 1997 on XL Recordings. Side A - Jonny L - Piper Side B - Jonny L - Common Origin Appears to be the same as XLT74 but instead of an A and AA side it's an A and B side. NOT a promo - it is a full release.
  9. Once again - where is it from?? Like, what set?
  10. This is funnier: At the bottom of that link you just gave it says Also check out Seba's live set in Chicago - August 1999. but when you click it, this screen comes up . . . http://www.forwardbound.com/live.html#seba  Does the word "cunts" come to mind at all?
  11. The remix is by Furney. P.S. I will soon find out where you live and steal that dub from you  And I disagree, considering the state of most modern remixes of old skool tracks I think it did a pretty good job. There are a few floating about right now, such as Marky and XRS's remix of Jazzmin by Cloud 9, I'm sure you all remember that one!
  12. Amazing tune, this one was due a release on GLR but like many before (and following) it, ceased to come out (I believe).
  13. Excellent mix, that first tune is amazing. Shame he's a bit of a shit DJ lol. To me it either sounds like Digital (under another alias) or Photek, it's typically their style. It also that sample which sounds very similar to the one in Spacefunk by S.O.S. (Digital alias).
  14. Not a bad idea, but many websites come and go, and before long most of the links will just expire.
