JJ can we have a link to a soundclip of this?

I may have a copy of this on a tape myself... and I have been trying to ID it for ages

Last time I ever heard it played was by Doc Scott as well! although this was back in 1995 at the (infamous) 'Speed' club night at the Mars Bar next to the Astoria up in central London

Once again, lets have the soundclip!!!

I just heard the Doc Scott set and have listened to "Take Me Away". Its' not the tune I was thinking of.

I have a clip somewhere of the unreleased track I am referring to. Oh and there is another unreleased bukem tune it has a sample going "...ease yourself back into consciousness..."... anyone know that one?

Was the tune you want played by Bukem, Peshay, Grooverider etc. from December 1993? If so it's by Bukem & Hyper On Experience.

The tune in clips 13 & 18 is a another unreleased Bukem tune that he started playing back in July 1993 - it's not Take Me Away.

I've sent a clip to Haste of Take Me Away so there should be a soundclip soon.

just to confirm guys, I sent Bukem an email via the Goodlooking site last week, and was well suprised to get a reply today!!

he confirmed what I already knew about clips 13/18 above which was his production and never released :-(

he is also pretty certain that clip 14 was a Danny Breaks production which also never appeared - DOUBLE :-(

Ahhh! This ONE is THE tune I was thinking of!

As described earlier, this is the one when I went up to Doc Scott one time at the Speed club. He seemed to think that it was released, I assured him it wasn't... Far as he was concerned, as he had it on a white label 12" vinyl then it was probably released at some stage..!

Last time I ever heard it played was by Doc Scott as well!? although this was back in 1995 at the (infamous) 'Speed' club night at the Mars Bar next to the Astoria up in central London

Man, what a tune. When I first heard about the release of the Producer 05: Rarities album I was convinced that this tune would finally see the light of day... alas it was not included... Good album though!

The tune in clips 13 & 18 is a another unreleased Bukem tune that he started playing back in July 1993 - it's not Take Me Away.

Now that I have mentioned it WAS on a piece of vinyl, albeit limited test-press, does anyone have it? And can it go in the database?

Bukem & Hyper-On Experience - Consciousness, was alas, never released unfortunately :-(

JJ was that your post? Hmmm - this one is not the same one as the

"...ease yourself back into consciousness..."

track I mentioned... although it does sound quite similar - same beat, similar sounds...

The one I have is recorded from Fabio Kiss 100 radio show sometime mid 1995... where he mentions specifically it being a few years old & unreleased... will look it up

It can happily go in the db as a TP only release, would be best to get some more info on it though. Ideally it should have a cat no associated with it before it goes in. Track name too?

Would bet my bottom dollar it has a LTJ 0x cat. sequence number, just like the LTJ Bukem - Demon's Theme release

Yes I know its Good Looking #1 but it has etched LTJ 01 on the vinyl...!

As you know the tune was out & about from mid 1992 on white label, but it wasn't formally released until the early part of 1993 as the Good Looking label premiere.

(Good Looking #1 has both GLR 01 AND LTJ 01 cat. numbers etched on the vinyl)

Haste - Do you think that the LTJ 0x releases should have a label category of their own?

I don't think that will be necessary, really. They all fit under the Good Looking label so best to keep them together, I reckon.

I didn't know GLR001 had another cat etched in, I'll have a look at my copy at home. If it does then we'll need to record that somehow :)

This is the email I got from Bukem

>

> The first one is a track I didn't release, haven't heard that for

> years, I

> called it something stupid like Atmospherical Jubilancy..

> The second piece is by Danny Breaks I think, also never came out...

>

> Peace

>

> Danny Bukem

>

Whilst there *might* be a couple of TP's of the first tune (clip13/18), I think its much more likely Scotty et al would have played it from dub. Doc Scott did say when he dropped the track on 1xtra that it was unreleased...

*IF* it did get a few TP's, then INFO INFO INFO pls!

No that wasn't my post Ornette.

The clip I posted on this forum misses out the first few minutes - the "ease yourself back into consciousness" sample is at the start of the tune. I'll do a longer clip.

Beg your pardon. I looked this up on my own *personal* tarzan... (you know.. the one I did for myself in MS Access 6 years back?)

It has LTJ 003 etched (not LTJ 001)

This SUGGESTS the EXISTENCE of a LTJ 002 and LTJ 001 !!!!

What could they be???!!!

Plot thickens

  • 2 weeks later...

My copy of Demons Theme (GLR001) also has LTJ 3 etched into the groove.

Only the originals have this as a mid 90's re-press ive got doesnt, neither do the recent re-presses.

Why Bukem keeps his tunes to himself i dont know, usually the best ones as well, anyone remember 'G Force' by G Force? Was on the old Yarman Rebirth CD but never got released, one of the best DnB tunes off all time IMO.

I wish Bukem release all the tunes he's sitting on.  I'm sure there's so much tunage that I would absolutely love! We should persuade him to do it!

By the way is that G-Force tune on the March 26(or is it 24?) 1996 essential mix? I think I know the tune you're speaking of.

Yep, its called Proximity by G Force. One of the best unreleased GLR records ever IMO. Im still trying to find out why it never came out.

BTW ASC did a nice little (unreleased!!!) remix of it.
