  1. Are you sure it's that? I can't hear where the loop that was lifted from the in Hot pants break. The break in Sing it Loud and ? both have a double kick drum part. I know it could have just been edited that way but the break in Sing it Loud and in the ? Volume 1 have identical patterns which make me think it might have been a different break. The hot pants hats also sound to tidy to be this break. Any other suggestions?
  2. Nice one.....but what is that break? The one on the ? tune. It's definitely the one I am after but the kick is distorted or overdriven on that tune. Do you know where it is originally from so I can source it from there?
  3. Can anyone work out the combination of breaks in this old classic? I can hear three different breaks I think. There is the first one that comes in at 0:31 Then a second, messier one gets layered at 0:42. This break plays on its own at 2:13 I think maybe another layer is added at 0:55. I'm not sure but the break seems to have a richer tone here. and finally.... There is a tiny, higher break that pops in and out of the tune and it plays on its own right at the end at 5:14 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T53-Xl8pVwI
  4. From this tune? I can't hear them....where in the track?
  5. Where do all the wails and oooohs at the start come from? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-5HqUEO6uzQ Also the 'I can see it in your eyes' vox @ 1:50 aaaaaaaaand......is the little riff at the beginning a sampled riff or do you think it has been played in on a synth?
  6. Anyone know the source of the ragga vocal from this tune? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HFrBbuGxbqk
  7. Nice....I didn't spot it in the remix before. Can definately hear it is a break but I am still none the wiser as to where it's from. Don't think I've ever heard it before.
  8. Hi people, In this old tune by the Skeleton Crew there are a few breaks that layer up on top of each other. I have worked out most of them, except at 0:06 there is some sort of percussive / top end break that layers over the first break......what is it?! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XWJBu3DtU-Y
