bugger!! I think I sold this last year, so if anyone else has this I could do with knowing if it is sub love's coherant flow that samples that bit from the film.

also leftfields not forgotton samples part of the music from that film, which probably was by vangellis (how ever you spell it)

I think the vangelis sounding synth at the start of blaze it down by dillinja on the cybotron album might be from this film but I am yet to get a copy of the film to check fully. also the film is not that bad , it's more about how the film looked and sounded thats why it's rated so.

unless you watched the version with the awful commentary through it by harrison ford as that version is crap, but then again some of that might have been sampled too.

Ok, i created new thread by accident... My fault.

So here's what i said there:

Accidental Heroes -- Forgotten Worlds on Industry (http://www.rolldabea...dustry/12ind004). Greate tune imo!

Teh text:

Tyrell: [Tyrell explains to Roy why he can't extend his lifespan] The
facts of life... to make an alteration in the evolvement of an organic
life system is fatal. A coding sequence cannot be revised once it's
   been established.
   Batty: Why not?
Tyrell: Because by the second day of incubation any cells that have
undergone reversion mutation give rise to revertant colonies like rats
leaving a sinking ship, then the ship sinks.
   Batty: What about EMS recombination?
Tyrell: We've already tried it, ethyl, methane, sulfinate as an
alkalating agent and potent mutagen, it created a virus so lethal the
subject was dead before it even left the table.
Batty: Then a repressor protein, that would block the operating cells.
Tyrell: Wouldn't obstruct replication but it does give rise to an
error in replication so that the newly formed DNA strand carries with
it a mutation and you've got a virus again....but this, all of this is
academic. You were made as well as we could make you.
   Batty: But not to last.
Tyrell: The light that burns twice as bright burns for half as long
and you have burned so very, very brightly Roy.
