haste
http://tarzan.spoox.org/display.php?type=r...elease&id=25849 I think this should be listed as Subnation on he label name There is another release on this label...let me try and find the info
haste
The other release on this label is SUB1302 Two track white label
haste
OK, got a copy with labels. The weird thing is that it is not called Subnation! The label reads Precision RecordsRecorded at Pro One Digital0956 216890SubnationWritten & Produced by Out Law Juice I have no idea where Subnation fits in at all...it's not the artist name...perhaps it's the track name on the a-side? The phone number shoudl be put down in the label details. Anywyay...the second release on this label is definitely SUB1302 if we're gonna stick with what's etched on the vinyl
Guest dumdumm
got a copy... SUB1302 is most def on subject 13 isnt it?? i think this was the only release on this label. and it was produced by out law juice, not out law digital
haste
Yeah, after finding the SUB13 label I think you may be right. Maybe it's best to delete the second release from this one Out Law Juice is right, bit of a typo there
Phokus
The Subject 13 label has the catalogue number system SUB13xx. Not sure how many there are in total, though. So this: http://www.rolldabeats.com/release/subnation/sub1302 should become http://www.rolldabeats.com/release/subject_13/sub1302
haste
This has all got massively confused... You've turned the original SUB01 into a Subject 13 release http://www.rolldabeats.com/release/subject_13/sub01 I don't know if there is a release on Subject 13 with cat no SUB01 but there is also one with all the details listed below Label: PrecisionSUB01A: Out Law Juice - ???B: Out Law Juice - ???199512" I think it's like that the 1st release on the Subject 13 label should have a cat no SUB1301, not SUB01 ---------------------------------- http://www.rolldabeats.com/release/subject_13/sub1302 This is wrong, take off the artist name. It is a typo connected with the 12" mentioned above and should not be present on this 12" ----------------------------------- I think I've worked out the connection between Subnation and the Precision 12. If you look at Special Dedication then you will see that it says "Executive Production by Outlaw (Subnation)". I know that those tracks were made in Subnation's studio and this would mean that Subnation (or at least one of them) also goes by the name of Outlaw (presumably in this case Out Law Juice) hence the "Subnation" written on the sleeve. For the moment put it down as an alias of both members of Subnation
ol skee
You know what.. I gotta add into this confusion. Ive always thought remarc would have some sort of connection to this record. Not the side in which he would later remix as crazy tings, but the other side with the synths and "oh baby" vocal before the drop. Correct me if I am wrong, but that "oh baby" vocal is the same vocal used in Ice Cream & Syrup? So in conclusion, my crazy hypothesis is that sub01 is a brainchild of Remarc.. shrugs.. more confused. hehThis has all got massively confused...
