Wow thanks i was looking all over youtube. Strange how the Kariya sample is used yet not on who sampled.com or on any Kariya sampled threads here.

Thought i would tie this one up as i finally found it after years. Its basically a sample he used to start this side of the mix with and as i remembered it was Star Trek and it was Neuromancer Pennywise he started with. Incredible how things stay in the memory for years... Apparently he liked to sample loads of stuff to start his mixes with which is probably why noone had ever heard of the tune because it wasnt a tune. So this has been bugging me as i remebered hearing it on a Unity tape back in the day aswell but no where else. I dont think it is a remix of let me love you but does contain that famous Kariya riff used everywhere. Also possibly a beats international sample? This ones a banger. I reckon i shy as it def sounds like his stuff at the time. At the 40 minute mark of this wicked Shy fx and DJ Ash one in the jungle. Its got a 'no surrender' lyric and a booming sub base. If i was a betting man its shy alright. But what is it called and why does no one know it?

Ok so ive been looking for this one for years. All i have is memory and no clip. This tune would be on a tape possibly Faantazia from 92/93/94. All i can remember is the sample ( which i always thought was possibly Star Trek?) " We don't know where it comes from, We can imagine where it goes " Thats from memory. If it helps anybody i think the track it was mixed into was Neuromancer Pennywise. Sorry for limited info but ive checked sample threads for star trek and others .Good luck and thanks in advance.

After two weeks on youtube trawling oldschool tunes got it.Pennywise The neuromancer but must have been mixed with the above sample cos not on this track.Can sleep easy now.

Hi all good forum. This tune has been scuttling around my head for years and doing my nut in what is it. From 92 93 i think and very dark atmospheric then sample goes We dont know where it came from we cant imagine where it goes/ possibly some star trek sample. Sorry for vague description but its clear in my head no tapes lost years ago.Cheers in advance .
