Please post requests for IDs here, rather than in the bulk of the forum.

That would be the amen, there are some programmed drum machine hits in there too, but its the amen.

Would love to know what break is used in Skanna - Find Me . . . what a phat phat track, Bukem used to love it! Hard to find on vinyl, got an MP3 copy of it though. Break has lots of clap-like sounds in it.

I was thinking maybe the break from Stetsasonic - Bust That Groove

"...clap your hands now, people clap your hands...".

Man that tune is old skool

Finally located via Marley Marl's "Symphony Pt. II"

The - Meters
Struttin': (Josie 1970)
* "Handclapping Song"

Possible?

Hi,

Looking for the origin of the following breakbeat. I've been searching for it for over 10 years (the uneditted, original version).

Ity been used a lot of tracks, for instance Euphora from the House Crew, Original Bad Boy Rhytyhm from Smokey Joe amongst many others.

I recorded the clip from "50 breakbeats, a kniteforce compilation.
Hopefully you guys can help me out!

I'm pretty sure it's the break from i'm riffin by mc duke on music of life as it has the beats clean on the b-side as an extra track.

Anyone know the break in Seba and Lo-Tek - "Universal Music"?

CLIP: http://www.sendspace.com/file/4hgquj

(sorry, it's 1MB which is a bit big as I forgot to lower the MP3 quality from the default 320 and going back and re-opening the track from the CD would have taken ages again so I just left it)

Someones gonna have to dig out their really old-skool hardcore / breakbeat house tunes to ID that. Based around one of the "Think" breaks with the Malcolm McClaren "Buffalo Gals" scratch sound.  Best I can do...
