Chord sound used in plenty of old tunes

So I'm trying to figure out what (most likely) sample cd this sound comes from:

Right there in the intro... It's also in Sovereign Melody, Ice Cream & Syrup, Feeling So Special (new-old Plug tune) and others I can't think of right now.

I've gone through Datafile 1-3, XTC Goldmine/XL1, Housemaster, and some popular Future Music sample cd, but it's not on any of 'em.

Anyone know where it comes from or know of other popular sample cd's from that time that I should look into to?

Don't know that sound I'm afraid, but I presume you are a producer and would like to use the sample in your own composition? Couldn't you recreate it? If you assumed the first chord was the original pitch it would be F minor 7, with the Dsharp below the F. Obviously a Rhodes, I'd say a Mk 1, with a smidgen of chorus. You could achieve the movement with an envelope assigned to amplitude or you could probably achieve similar results by resampling and then reversing and cutting the attack short. I think there is a subtle use of tremolo as well. Hope that was useful.

The one in Sovereign Melody comes from one of the DJ Food Jazz Brakes compilations, the wah-wah sound from that and Deep Love is also clean in the same track.

Possibly Remarc sampled it from Dillinja.

As for where DJ Food got it... ???
