Cob
Only example I've seen so far for this but there's an issue on this release:http://www.rolldabeats.com/release/48983/spearhead_records/spear044 When I click on LSB from the release page it takes me to this page but this release is not listed:http://www.rolldabeats.com/artist/lsb And when I click on the label 'Spearhead' the release is also not listed:http://www.rolldabeats.com/label/spearhead_records Not sure if this is a one off or other examples in the database exist? Something not linking through or updating correctly?
haste
Gotcha, I know why this is happening. The site caches all releases and track IDs for artists and labels to save hitting the database each time. This speeds up the site massively and also means that the database doesn't die doing huge SQL statements every time someone hits the page. The only slight problem is that the cache can become out of date when new releases are added and more specifically when the admin system is used to change details about a release such as the artist or label. I'll be making changes here that reset the cache for all edits in the admin area but at the moment I'm having to do this manually for each label and artist and must have missed these! If you notice this anywhere else then please let me know. These listings are now fixed, by the way. As a mod you can do this yourself. You should see links in the right hand side admin toolbar for releases, artist, labels etc. saying "Delete cache" with various options. Try these if there's stuff that you think should be showing up that isn't and they may appear as if by magic!
