Phokus
Bootleg or unauthorised remix? There's this one in the db already: http://www.rolldabeats.com/release/bootleg/pab001 (which should be labelled unauthorised remix, rather than bootleg, I think). caedo261
Yeah, I'd say you're right. What determines the difference between an unauthorized remix and a bootleg, though.
Phokus
Illegal repressings of tunes = bootleg, in my book. http://www.rolldabeats.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=37179
Guest blah
is this the version with the vocal"lets take you back way, back back into time" and even starts with the beginning of the high contrast version but is out of time?if so that version was something to do with mantis as it came through the congo natty distribution plus the production (and amen) sound very similar to the 31 seconds booty that came about in '
Sea Monkey
If PAB001 is one-sided then PAPA001 is not the same thing. There is a second track on the other side. I have no idea what it's called or who it's by though.
Pablex
there are 2 or 3 releases of this tune, which is a bootleg remixexcept for that fact, only one of these releases is by the remixing producersi don't know which one but from what i heard in one of these "releases" you can clearly hear at the beginning aswell as at the end a mix with other tunes, which means the track is cut out of a set and a bootleg release

Sea Monkey
So is PAPA001, aka Papa Nu-Skool, the Nu:Tone remix? Any ideas on who did the b-side?
Phokus
No, the Nu:Tone mix is a single sided 12" etched PAB001 - http://www.rolldabeats.com/release/bootleg/pab001 Papa Nu Skool is by an unknown artist. ----------------- Thijs - updates for the database: 1) This one: http://www.rolldabeats.com/release/bootleg/pap001 - needs a note in the comments field saying that it was cut from an mp3 taken from a mix set, and has a second track mixed into the back of it. 2) We need to add PAPA001 (Future Sound of London - Papua Nu Skool / ???) to the database. Sea Monkey - is the B side another mix of Papua Nu Guinea? 3) http://www.rolldabeats.com/release/bootleg/dnb001 - I had a copy of this, the B side is definitely not by High Contrast. Change to Papua Nu Guinea (remix).
