blah Posted December 22, 2006 Author Report Share Posted December 22, 2006 various bits sampled like the rain,the horn,bassline and the "arh haw, no no, I cant stop" and are used in the following babylon by splash on dee jay - samples rain and atmospherics peacemaker by nebular 2 on reinforced - samples the horn konga by brockie & ed solo on undiluted - samples the horn and the knocking sound various other tracks have sampled it but I cannot think of anymore at the mo. could of sworn it was in here allready but not that I could find it?. The recent DOA Thread sent me here and i just realized it on this thread. Links are dead or to be precise the XML-schema changed and produces an error. I was just thinking about people NOT knowing how to use RDB or site like this in general. The just use a quick google search and that's it. BTW. I was wondering why there isn't a automatic parser that links the RDBlinks pasted into a sample thread automatically to the mentioned tunes/releases. E.g. you paste the link in this thread and a Info will popup at the end of the release page linking to the thread automagically... was just a idea. It's all possible but there's always another job to do on RDB and as the only one doing any of the dev work on the site there are many other tasks that take precedence. We actually have a whole new version of the site in testing and nearing completion. Eventually this will be extended so that the sample sources (and unreleased tunes, tracklists etc.) are taken out of the forum and into the main part of the site. In the future we're going to be relying less and less on the forum for updates and additions so developing it further and adding bespoke code is not a priority.
