Check this quote of his in a recent interview: (http://www.liquidfunk.co.uk/bryangee-liquidfunk.htm) Bryan Gee also announced that he is will be going into the studio with both Lemon D and Die. Alongside Fabio, he's one of the few original jungle DJs never to have made a tune. "Up to date there's no Bryan Gee production about," he said. How is that possible that he's never been in the studio? The Telepathy: Jungle Dons album has a (crap) tune from him, and there's no way it can be a different Bryan G because he used to be a Telepathy DJ. Also, I was always told that Leviticus was Jack Frost and Bryan G together. Is that wrong? And how the hell do you spell his name? Also, Fabio never in the studio? I think not. This happens a lot (at least outside DnB) with big name DJ's (for example dutch DJ Jean has never actually made a tune! Engineered by Optical, or Dillinja, depending on what you read/believe.the original was engineered by optical, remix (vocal version) was engineered by dillinja as far as bryan g goes, he's not a procuder and never has been. i dunno where the info on HOT001 came from but i never knew that was him and am sure he didn't actually have much to do with it (aside from sitting in the studio smoking weed perhaps ). both him & fabio can't engineer tunes so if their name appears on a release it's more that they were present when the tune was made, not that they actually made the tunes themselves there is an old skool hardcore thing that bryan's name appears on, i'll try and find the info but it could be tricky his name has been spelled differently for years but the most common one is "bryan g" Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It doesn't matter if it's written by him (like the stuff on Suicide), or just engineered by him for the DeeJay recordings people or others... it all sounds the same... As I mentioned above, there were some insightful TV shows on the dutch dance scene recently. People like 100% Isis who go up to a production crew, give some ideas for riffs/samples and then come back a week later to see what tune they've come up with! (hmm... Unfortunately I'm not 100% sure :sad: However I remember an interview with Bryan G in 1994 where he mentioned that he remixed This Is An Example for Soundman. This suggests that he isn't part of Direct To Metal and was only involved in the remixes on SMRS08T. The A1 side mix was being played out in December 1993, but the other 2 mixes were only being played from the end of March 1994. This is only a guess, but it could be that the A1 side mix is the original and the other 2 tunes on the EP the remixes. :think: I'm unsure of how you should credit Bryan G's involvement, although I think it's reasonable to credit the 2 B Side tunes as Bryan G remixes until more accurate info is available.
