haste
http://www.rolldabeats.com/artist/skool_of_hard_knocks This is credited to A. Williams (not Shy FX) on most of the later releases. I think Dancemaster and E. Simms are separate people who should also be credited as being in this artist group
Phokus
Yeah, Dancemaster and Errol Simms were different people, afaik
haste
Who is Errol Simms? You reckon Dancemaster is A. Williams?
Phokus
No idea what else Simms was involved in, if anything. Just remember shouts being given to Errol Simms and the Dancemaster on a few old skool tapes I have. Dancemaster could well be A Williams, but I've never seen anything to back that up - never seen a name other than Dancemaster.
haste
Cool, at least we have a first name for Simms then. Not sure about the Dancemaster thing...GL03 has the artist as Skool Of Hard Knocks and says written and produced by Dancemaster. GL07 has A. Williams on it and says additional production by Dancemaster & E. Simms, I think It hink it's possible that Dacemaster is A. Williams...worth putting that as a reasonable guess, you think? Ornette
Hmmm seems Errol Simms was involved with this release here: http://www.rolldabeats.com/release/dance_wax/dwr80105 Says track 3 "Inimitable Attitute" was mixed and arranged by Errol Simms
