mikeeee-mk2
It's cool mate! I'm not 100% sure that the Prodigy sampled the Trigger record anyway. As mentioned in the other thread, the original source for this one is The Sindecut - Love The Life. This is a UK hip hop track, however rather than sampling a funk break it sounds like a live drummer to me. I'd imagine Liam Howlett had a copy of this as not only does the breakbeat appear in Your Love, it's the source of the vocal for We Are The Ruffest, too. Trigger must have sampled the break from The Sindecut which became a second generation break in itself - listen out for the bleepy sound which was added to the Trigger tune, sampled by: Cosmo & Dibs - Help MeDefender - Feel It (Bass)Es-Pee-Dee & DJ Distroi - Alphawave EP Loads more too, feel free to add! p.s. I think the Q Mix is correct - I haven't got the vinyl any more to check but from memory it's just a kind of bonus beat with a couple of minutes of clean breaks. AnthonyDavid
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dDGFOIkRUgs How about this? The both breaks in this tune can be found on the Dangerous CD Company Volume 1 Danger sample CD.How about the other break in this tune? Sounds like some weird ass Run DMC - I'm Not Going Out Like That break...Sorry that was off-topic
