Ive heard this sample in an early techno track on mix tapes years back and maybe even a jungle track The only audio sample i can find however is this more recent hardcore track The sample is at 2:10 Come to think of it i wouldnt mind knowing what those little rap bites in the intro are from

I havent seen Poltergeist for years so it could well be! A trip down the video shop is in order :cool:

the record was sampled on 45rpm so it sounded pitched up but not in a digital way like it had been pitched in a sampler I did have a recording of that vocal section but i dont think it was labelled so i dont know who it was originally, think i found it either on here, backtotheoldskool or doa forum

Are you sure this is from Predator? Ive just watched the first movie and this quote wasnt in it Or did you mean Predator 2?

Does anyone know where this vocal sample comes from? quite sinister male voice saying "Listen..... Do you here it??? Its all around us...... Its getting closer" Theres a small part of this used in Hyper On Experience - Thunder Grip but ive heard it in full used a few other times

Austin - I get High (Sub Base) Ive tried searching but only found the source of a different sampled used in the 93 remix. The one i want to find is the main vocal "I get hiiiiigh.... when i touch you" Ive tried searching google for the words but it only came up with Charlie Rich (cant find any audio but seems unlikely) and Def Lepard. Im sure i heard there was a problem releasing this track due to sample clearance, so surely it must be a fairly known vocal So just wondering if anyone knows?

Im sure that sort of "Boing!" noise is clean on a sample cd. I have one which i found somewhere on the net. Its labelled Hit - 054.wav Ive tried googling it in hope of finding the full cd (i bet it has some good stuff) but so far no luck The vocal is deffo on Zero G Datafile 1 - i have it somewhere, if the other poster doesnt upload it remind me and i'll hunt the cd down

I'd love to know that as well. Ive been asking around and looking for years without any luck though It seems only Jonny L knows :sad: Crazy as you'd think somebody would have stumbled across it by now
