  2. when IS the next one? due to several reasons we'll be there in januari instead of december, the extra wait making the trip even more exciting
  3. I didn't think of this before but I could provide a sample after the weekend somewhere. Just let me know how long it has to be, full track/just the first minute of the track? the sampled line is the very first thing you hear when you put on the track.
  4. The shop I'm talking about had some pinkish interior or lighting, and there was a friendly Asian guy behind the counter. If maths don't fail me it was there about 4 to 5 years ago. mainly housey/techno/electronics kind of stuff. no second hand

  6. I see, been there once but out of all mentioned stores it's the one that did the least for me at that time, altho I vaguely remember them having a pretty interesting selection. I have not yet checked Back to the Oldskool, to be honest I did not know where to start except for some of the usual fora related to jungle, dnb, dubstep, but I'm afraid the topic here got me the best info so far. I've seen the jungle mania line-up, and if the date would be an option, which isn't, I'm not sure this would be what I'm after. I'd preferably get to find some cosyer events, even if it's not necessarily jungle/old school/hardcore. something like http://rolldabeats.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=53772 on the other hand would have me booking my ticket in a few minutes
  7. right, thanks for the reply Haste, this helps me out pretty well. it's a pity, I only discovered that one on my last visit, I was hoping I could get there again.. Reckless and MVE are my favourite and first shops to visit whenever I get to London, so it's good they're still alive, even tho I never get the feeling I might be paying my last visit there whenever I get there the other shops are pretty interesting still, found some grime sales in BM, hip hop and breakcore in SOTU and a fair few good dnb records at sister ray during my visits there, so I'm sure I won't waste time the next time round visiting those. Phonica rings a bell, but it's difficult to visualise it right now, is it a shop selling mostly electronic music in a basement between reckless and MVE? I'll confirm the date to get there later on, in the hope someone might have good suggestions for the time being there. thanks!

  9. Artist: Joe Gibbs & The Professionals Title: Prophecy (which is the dub version to Culture - Two Sevens Clash) sampled in Cool Hand Flex - Must Feel sampled: "bwoy me tell a man who can't hear will feel"
  10. hello. so, my question should be pretty obvious from the topic title, but instead of letting it speak for itself I'd like to point out: I'm visiting a friend in London who's been living there for a few months now, and the confirmed month would be december, by the look of it somewhere between wednesday the 5th and sunday the 9th. this is ofcourse, open for any change, depending on different factors which are at the moment still irrelevant to my question, being the following: is there any jungle in London and if so, when and where? in the past, I've been to London whenever I could, to go cratedigging, but I never cared that much for any parties except when I was travelling with other people, having me visiting fwd, dmz and sin city on different travels. this time, however, I'd like to find some jungle party, mainly because the scene seems to be fading quiet in Belgium, thus leaving my expectations to the city of its roots./ thanks very much upfront and if anyone is able to get me an update on what record stores closed permanently this time round, that would be appreciated aswell. Simon
  11. Hello everyone, I recently started to clean out my closet and will be putting lists online in the near future selling mainly jungle, but I'll be getting rid of some hip hop, nu skool breaks, dubstep, grime, dnb, breakcore,... too. I'll be selecting more stuff to put online the very first few days, so please keep in mind this list will get bigger pretty soon. I can meet up for records in Brussels or Leuven, and on later, specific dates maybe Antwerp or Ghent. I made two lists, one with records that are considered of varying value, that I would prefer to negotiate in private, aswell as a list with fixed prices, no record being sold for more than 6 euro, prices negotiable. make an offer Odd Man Out & Undercover Agent - Musical Dis / Rougher XTC - On A Mission EP Bounty Killer - Dead This Time / New Blood Spilt M-Beat - Style Rampage - Priority One Album Sampler Various Artists - The Seed / The Box Re-Opens Tribe Of Issachar - Champion Natty Dillinja - The Angels Fell / Ja Know Ya Big / Brutal Bass Sub Sequence - Music Is The Vibe / Now The Gods / I Want You DJ Exodus & Head Pressure - Rude Boy Dem / Glass Pipe Fury Andy C - Cool Down / Roll On Blackstar - Champion DJ / Sound Clash Dub / Kunta Kinte The Dubster - Retreat / Zigzawya 6 euro T-Power - This Is Not Reality EP Rogue Unit - Luv Dub / Dance Of The Sarooes (Remix) Da Intalex - What Ya Gonna Do? / Nice & Slow Kolt 45 & Ruff Blockade - Young Girl / Get Up E-Logic - Get Up / The Sorcerer G.S.I.
