ok i have found out a bit more info on this release. it is not on soon records, but a label called adelphoi and was released in 1996 according to this german online shop: Seiji Close Encounters (incl. Suzy Wong & Relentlessly Mix) Adelphoi ADFU 001 / UK 1996 12inch so the tracks are: a - close encounters b1 - close encounters (suzy wong mix) b2 - close encounters (relentlessly mix) hope that helps

hey guys, esb dropping in for his first post at your new home. i've got a white label copy of a seiji record from i'd say 98-99 called "close encounters" with soon records written on it. it contains 3 tracks in total. the a side is a nice subtle amen with those signature seiji percusive layers going on with some nice keys rolling under. the flip has the other 2 tracks, one a true reinforced type workout with those bin pushing bass punches and the last track is a half time joint with some cools amens snuck in sparingly. i have not seen it listed on any databased site. the only time i have seen mention of it is when i snagged a copy off ebay. anyone have any more info on this or the label? here is the info if you care to list it: artist: seiji title: close encounters # of tracks: 3 label: soon records cat #: ADFU 001 i just realised that i should have posted this in the release forums... sorry for the noob error as my first post.
