H_M_M
both versions tooLiam was always good at hiding the raw breaks.
Lynxx
seems that the beat in "Your Love (Remix)" was sampled from The Sindecut – "Live The Life" (Changing The Scenery, 1990)not 100% sure about this one though Your Love - Beat.mp3
H_M_M
i guess it is yeah! found this also- (1991)http://www.discogs.com/Cosmo-Dibs-Help-Me-Oh-So-Nice/master/
mikeeee-mk2
I'm pretty sure that both the original mix of Your Love and the Cosmo & Dibs tune above take the break from an old Belgian tune from early 1991, Trigger - Wisdom on Target Records. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t4jJj1uIcbg One of the mixes of Wisdom is just several minutes of breakbeat, ripe for sampling. Also sampled on the Alphawave EP and Defender - Feel It, amongst others!
Ornette
I'm pretty sure that both the original mix of Your Love and the Cosmo & Dibs tune above take the break from an old Belgian tune from early 1991, Trigger - Wisdom on Target Records. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t4jJj1uIcbg Well, the synth lead is very recogniseable! DJ Trace - Love Dove Sound or Jim Polo - Heavyweight anyone? I think if anything the Sindicut is the sample source, as it came first. The question is, what funk/soul record did it sample. I notice the label says "Programming by Don't Ramp/Fingers" so it IS possible they programmed it themselves, with a 'realistic' drum machine. I notice its on the other side of "Demanding Cycle", a tune I do very much remember. Ahh the good old days...

This version of the beat (with the bleep) is found on Dangerous CD Company's Volume One Danger. It's used in this, alongside the weird ass Run DMC break with these bells... Also on that sample CD!Is it worth a thread? The Trigger - Wisdom break of course. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dDGFOIkRUgs
