eXtreme
these 2 are round the wrong way. Johnny Jungle should be 004 & Nosebleed should be 003. http://tarzan.spoox.org/display.php?type=r...release&id=4041 http://tarzan.spoox.org/display.php?type=r...release&id=4042 also, i have a white label version of RAINT003 Nosebleed, that has 2 different mixes (of the same tracks) instead of the released 2 mixes. haste
also, RAINT001 is a 4-tracker the full sp = Sponge & Pascal (from true playaz site) nosebleed = pascal & sponge Clone Inc = Pascal & Wax Doctor seems like genetix = pascal, but it also says hardware is so it coudl be that he just engineered the genetix stuff ....& on the dark horse dynamix stuff i'm pretty sure the smiley on there is not the same smiley as shut up & dance

thijs
iamdek: not sure whether you do all those scans you posted yourself, if so, could you send the ones you did as a zip file (max. 1 mb) to tarzan@spoox.org. i will add them to the site when i got time. thanks in advance
iamdek
Yep .. they are all mine I've got over 500 or so that I did for a project a while ago, but they never where used. They are all 500k-800k each ... so would take a while to email, and they would need prepping .. and they have generic digicam names so not all of them can be identified so easily Having said that, you're welcome to ftp them from me. Drop me an email at dan@graffiti.org if you're still interested.
Ornette
http://www.rolldabeats.com/release/face/raint004 "I Like To Cry" is the track on the B side. "Johnny" is on the A side. - - - - - - - - Anyone heard the RAINT001 & 002 tunes? Think I auditioned the Jack Horner out of a bargain box once - not very impressed. Actually, not really sure that RAINT is really the same as Face at all. Is there any evidence to support this?
haste
None of the RAINT releases have Face written on them, from what I can rememebr, but they use exactly the same logo on the labels. I reckon they should all stay listed together under the Face name
Ornette
Well, I've only saw the face logo on two of them - #3 & #4. The Jack Horner release doesn not have a 'face' logo on it, only a stamp. I would guess the same goes for #2 too. I am of opinion that RAINT is not the same as Face, and that the use of the logo on #3 and #4 only pre-empts the forming of the label proper. haste
Yeah, the first two are just whites with stamps, or at least my copies are. Without another label name for them it seems silly to change them, don't you think? Pascal's profile on the True Playaz site reads like this... "From DJ?ing he became involved in production; following the white label ?Fubar EP? with a couple of singles as Bad Influence before eventually hooking up with Sponge to form Face Records in 1992." That would suggest that the earlier releases here were intended to be on Face http://www.rolldabeats.com/label/face/rele...ort_by_year/asc
eXtreme
i would keep them as face records also. The logo is a 'face' so that pretty much sums it up for me
Ornette
So Pascal's been digging out his old DATs...!https://twitter.com/...322174219407361 Looks like i'm a bit late to the party, this was back in November. But anyhow, going by what's written in the picture seems like the title for the b-side track on FACE002 is infact "Work Out" http://www.classifiedlistening.com/tarzanstuff/pascaldats.jpg Have wondered for a while where that "Red Face" detail for the track came from, as not found any corroborating info on it... I suppose it matches the female vocal in the tune ("huh! that's original") that might leave someone with a 'red face'. Or is it just that it came in a red sleeve? Also what's that "Slip N Slide" remix listed there, only track I can think of is the Andy C one on Ram Some other interesting pics up on his twitter worth checking too. Andy C - Slip 'N' Slide (Johnny Jungle Remix) was listed as a forthcoming release on Ram in magazines around October / November 1993. DJ Hype played it on one of his studio mixes.
