thijs
are there any white labels you know or have that should be added to a (known) label? second question: if you spot any bootlegs (non-dnb tracks remixed by dnb producers)... well you know the deal. please post those as well so i can move then to the trashbin (if you see any releases at the bootleg section which _should_ be white label, drop me a note as well)
mi:t
was just thinking about this the other day; but does the cat. nr. @ the record have to be different or can we generate it ourselves ? for instance, I have this http://tarzan.spoox.org/display.php?type=r...release&id=1935 as a white label which has the same cat. nr. , should it be referred then as CERT1856W or do we just leave it out ? thijs
aah... misunderstanding here. most retail releases have a white label promo. i am not trying to come up with all those. thing is that your white label can be id'ed through the catalogue number (certificate 18). however i am wondering whether there are releases listed under 'white label' (as in not related to any 'official' label) which actually are not as unknown as i think it is. hmm... reading this back i really hope i got my point across :? The_Manipulator
http://tarzan.spoox.org/display.php?type=r...elease&id=21727Hmm... sounds like a bootleg... (otherwise it would be the Multiply label in the UK). But then again... Multiply changed the name to Thick D. http://tarzan.spoox.org/display.php?type=r...elease&id=14687Definitely a bootleg. And a very nice one!! http://tarzan.spoox.org/display.php?type=r...elease&id=13246I suspect/think my mate read somewhere that this was on a once to be created Krome & Time label (hence KT).But since it seems to be the only release and wasn't even released officially afaik it may be better listed as a white label...(By the way: If anybody's got a spare copy of this one... let me know) http://tarzan.spoox.org/display.php?type=r...elease&id=21173http://tarzan.spoox.org/display.php?type=r...elease&id=20922Hmm... they look the same to me... http://tarzan.spoox.org/display.php?type=r...elease&id=13263Well, since the official release is on Weighty Plates, I guess this 1-sided promo is as well... xo
You have BULLY001 (with no info) still in the White Labels page, but it's already been moved to the Bootlegs page, you just need to remove it from the Whites page.
Phokus
BEBEL03 - So Nice (Marky & XRS RMX) http://tarzan.spoox.org/display.php?type=r...elease&id=14305 Isn't a bootleg - it's actually an East West catalogue number. Also on CD LP: http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B...0058696-9403078 and CD single (edited radio mix): http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B...0058696-9403078
thijs
should bootleg series like camoflage, from the streets, dirty cash, keep on jumping etc be made a seperate label you think? (if just it would clean the bootleg output)
haste
yeah, i'd say that if there's a direct series of bootleg things then they should be split up.
The_Manipulator
Please check the Camouflage series. 1 and 6 are listed as "various artists", the others just have the artist names listed  This also occurs on other releases...
