I'm presuming there would be a check box for each release which, when ticked, would flag the release in a 'My Collection' section of your profile. Which, hopefully, you could then customize, eg make it public or private, sort it by artist or label etc...
Logic
am I being obviously stupid or something??? Yup! It will work like Discogs -- you see a record you own while browsing RDB, and you can simply click a button and add it to your "collection." Other users can browse your collection for items you may be willing to trade, etc. Same goes for a wants list. If you see something you want, you click a button, and RDB keeps track of all the tunes you have on your wants list.

That's how I saw it as well .. a few buttons for 'I have this', 'I want this', 'Id kill for a copy of this', etc. Being as RDB already knows who we are when we visit, I'm sure this can't be far away .. can it .... can it .................. can it? The_Manipulator
'Id kill for a copy of this' Now that would be a great name for a button
blah
I just noticed its been metioned before by kace, http://www.rolldabeats.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=1438#this does make sense to me now although it might take a while to do it, would the wants list be done in the same way or can you just type it out in the profile? Christopher
Hey a BETA version of this feature is now working! Pretty cool, big up!! Just logged on today and noticed this, very promising, but I'll be patient and not use it until it's formally integrated with the user database, if it's only storing your collection in a cookie on your PC all you need to do is run an adaware check and it'll get cleared out unless you manually specify not to delete cookies What's the ETA for full backend integration and removal of beta status then? <pokepoke> Looking promising, though

What's the ETA for full backend integration and removal of beta status then? When it's finished.
