had record for while had been meaning post the entry for years!! used on many other old skool hardcore tunes!! sounds like a drum machine break based round funky drummer sent thru parallel reverb and compression effects.

Good work but that isn't the original break - it is sampled from Renegade Soundwave - Space Gladiator dub which I posted on here a few years back:

I just couldn't remember which tunes sample it, but you're right - there are loads! The Dr Alban tune is cool too.

just checked out the renegade soundwave clip!! i knew was a precursor as heard something that resembled it in the flipside to phantasy & seduction Dj's unite called release the techno. which def uses this renegade soundwave break but as is first part of loop in that track before the reverb send fx come in. but still think this dr alban could been the second generation source for quite few of tracks that used it.
