  1. That's not it unfortuantely. The pronounciation of "Let the drummer" is different. In my tune he stretches out the last part like "Let the drummeeeeeer" and it appears like in every 2 bars. Thanks none the less
  2. Are there multiple versions of this track? Cause the only one I can find has some dialogue in the intro which extends into the Amen break. But the Rufige Kru and Peshay tunes have the Amen clean.
  3. A couple months back I listened to a 1993/94 mix set but I can't for the life of me remember what it was. There was a tune in there that had a pitched up vocal repeating every 2 bars saying "Leth the drummer" or "Give the drummer" - It sounded like a Hip hop vocal. I can't remember anything else from that tune but that vocal has stuck with me ever since. Anyone know what tune it?
  4. I think it's the same break used in this tune as well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xTlZk40Txjk EDIT: Ok after giving this a couple listen I'm not so sure anymore. I think this is wrong after all since it's the Sandman break here.
  5. It's also used in Hype's "Going Out For Da Loot"
  6. Can you please give permission to access the file?

    90s Break ID

^ Plenty of misinformation there as well. There is a reason why I completely halted my activity on that site.

    90s Break ID

It sounds like typical sample cd fodder to me and not necessarily 90's. There are countless cds by other labels that have drum loops like this.
  9. The break is S.O.U.L. - Get Ready
  10. I don't know why I wrote that. I'm really sorry.
  11. You've read people saying? I've read people saying stuff too and most of the time it's utter bollocks. Ask the people what the real break is if they are so fucking knowledgable.
  12. The amount of inaccuracies is quite worrying and it's not due to the large number of contributors. It's because moderators aren't doing their work as accurately and carefully as they should. As an ex moderator on that site I know what I'm talking about. In my moderation time I felt it was my duty to check every specification of the submission and compare all details with databases to make sure they're correct. For that matter Discogs, Wikipedia and Google were constantly open tabs whenever I worked on submissions. Yes it's tedious work and it can stretch the processing time per submission to painstaking lengths, but I thought it was worth it. The fact that many moderators don't think the same is very sobering.
  13. Listen man, if you want us to identify a break then PLEASE provide a short mp3 clip or Youtube video with time indications of the break in question. It's not our job to listen through all the versions just to get an idea of what you maybe want.
  14. They solved it over at DOA. https://www.dogsonacid.com/threads/breaks-in-renegade-snares.782476/
