haste
Got a little problem here I think these need to be labelled differently but I'm not sure how it's gonna work really. Green A-side is a remix of the Red B-side, really don't know how we can show this in the database. In fact, it's probably best to just forget about this
thijs
or we can give the tracks names like [green-a], [red-b] etc... :?
sven
Yes, why not? You did the same for the "Month" series ( http://tarzan.spoox.org/display.php?type=l...630&show=tracks ), so why not labelling the tracks of the Colour series likewise? R-Hawk
I think Purple is by Mental Power and I always thought Green was by John B (even though it does sound more like an SS production). Rob
haste
I always thought Green was by John B (even though it does sound more like an SS production).Nah, I doubt it's John B...he wasn't even producing back in 95, was he? I think most people get these from the Colours album. I think that a lot of the info printed on there was fairly misleading. Purple could well be Mental Power though
The_Manipulator
SS' tunes in that era are pretty easy to spot as they're totally distorted.
thijs
SS' tunes in that era are pretty easy to spot as they're totally distorted. hehe with 'black' being one of the worst (unfortunatelly)
haste
I never liked Black anyway...I think I'm the only one though
R-Hawk
Purple could well be Mental Power though When I lived in Sheffield, Patrick from Mental Power used to shop in VM records. That's where I bought Purple, and word was that he wrote and produced it. The VIP remix of Black on the Highly Recommended LP is a classic, much better than the original. haste
Cool...Purple definitely sounds more Mental Power than SS to me. I reckon it would be fair to put that down in the db. Black VIP is one of my fav Formation tunes...such a wicked tune!!
haste
From an older threadany idea what order they were released in, and even more 'important' what are the release years?I think we've got the slightly wrong at the moment. Shoudl go BlackWhiteRedGreenBluePurple(Orange --> i don't know about these threeBrownYellow)GoldSilverBronze

Ornette
I always thought Green was by John B (even though it does sound more like an SS production). Nah, I doubt it's John B...he wasn't even producing back in 95, was he? I think most people get these from the Colours album. I think that a lot of the info printed on there was fairly misleading. Purple could well be Mental Power though Wasn't John B one half of Tekniq? The album credits are unclear, but it does seem to give all credit to J.B. Williams on that one. I see one of the discogs contributors suggests both sides of GREEN001 sound like John B's work...http://www.discogs.c...e=146127&diff=
