The_Manipulator
I had this in my original list... but when making the soundclip I noticed it really sounds like the "6 million ways to die" intro is sampled from somewhere else... so I didn't add it. Anybody know the REAL original of the sample?
haste
This is the original sample, it's been used in lots of other records, though
sch_pr
actually i think there's another onethe dope skillz track sample (Dope Skillz - 6 Million Ways [Front line] (FRONT011)) does not seem to be the sameand this particular one has been sampled many times i think this one is from NWA, Public Enemy or something like that (but i wouldn't bet)
Logic
It's from Wu Tang Clan, more specifically Method Man. That's the "Six million ways to die, so I chose" one, not the "Six million ways to die, choose one" one.
haste
From here... http://www.rolldabeats.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=36500 One of the most sampled tunes in DnB
The_Manipulator
This is the original sample, it's been used in lots of other records, though Sure? The whole sound quality of the intro is completely different from when Cutty starts. Even the "Six million" and the laugh seem to be different sources... It's also not Cutty's voice... I do agree it's usually sampled fromt his one.
haste
The first person speaking probably isn't Cutty, but that's doesn't mean that it's not an original vocal made for this tune. Both have Jamaican accents so it's more likely that it's made for this version than for others. Can't say for sure, though. until we find an earlier tune that uses it I think we'll have to use this as the sample source
