manicd
I'm thinking it could be an acappella over another track. What do you guys think?

djhaynes
It was played by L Double on One in the Jungle June 97 and Kenny Ken at Helter Skelter Strings of Life June 1997, so it isn't a accapella mixed over, my guess is that it was made by Lemon D because the intro drums are like the ones off Afro Kids Shooks on Chronic 1996.I reckon it wasn't released because of all the trouble DJ Zinc & Hype got into with ?ugee or Not, This Nod Factor remix uses so much of the original it could easily of lead to a similar law suit,
djhaynes
Finally figured it out It's Hard Factor by L Double, sadly it's unreleased. This Kenny Ken 1997 Kiss FM show helped me I.D it. https://www.hardscor...p=9370#comments Around track 8 L Double Saturday (Rollers Revival mix) Kenny Ken talks about being given a DAT by L Double that he made dubplates of. Saturday contains the same DJ Quicksilver Bellisma scratch sample, and the same drum sample that appears on the Hardfactor. Plus L Double plays Hardfactor 20th June 1997 on One In The Jungle.I still reckon copyright was the reason it wasn't released, it's a real shame because over 20 years on it still sounds good. DJ Delight
Good to get this nailed down at last. Someone on another RDB thread spoke about it maybe being by L Double. On all the TL i've done over this period , it was pretty much only ever played by Kenny Ken . I think maybe only one other dj, could be Hype , played it . It had previously been sampled in this track from 95 : https://www.discogs.com/Dream-Team-Cool-Breeze-Hard-Factor/master/72389
