13: Force & Styles ft. Junior – Pacific Sun – [uK Dance]

“Got DJ Force on the phone, think I’ll keep him waiting. Gonna be interviewing him later, but I’ll play a few more tunes first, starting off with this piece of crap. Dunno who done this, it’s awful, the production’s awful considering the studio...no it’s a class tune, you all know it.”

DJ Force interview – Force has just had a bout of food poisoning, and talks about the forthcoming release of Heart Of Gold on Diverse, due out the following Monday (13/07/1998). He then says they’re working on a remix of Bang! – Shooting Star (not released until December 1999) and a remix of Follow The Sun by Triple J. Hixxy says that someone else (himself) has also done a remix that’s much better than theirs. He also says that there’s a new Force & Styles track coming, which will be their first new release in a long time (Cutting Deep b/w Paradise & Dreams (Duet Mix). Also says they’re gonna be doing some work with Hixxy.

Information on the 1st April show, which is from here

Fabio mentions "also Kiss London, representing will be, Dougal, Slipmatt, Force & Styles on the happy hardcore tip... that is from April 1st"

My comments on it

So, and I forgot this, there was a happy hardcore series on Kiss 100. I listened the first show, hated most of it but there was one tune I remember really liking, it was kinda 'trancy', which I now know I guess to better describe as jungle tekno sounding. Was it a new tune or old? I dont know. I think they played Forever Autumn also "Ready Or Not" when they said "Not sure who its by, but theres a lot of Hype about it"

I don't remember all them people being on it so it may well have just been Dougal & Hixxy
