AnthonyDavid
D'oh! It is also clean in Pete Rock & CL Smooth - Straighten It Out...It's exactly the same as the original, no extra percussion, no 808 bass, nothing So you never know whether these tunes sampled the original or Pete Rock. AnthonyDavid
Okay, I recently found out something blindingly obvious... The Prodigy - Full Throttle obvously sampled the laughs in the intro from Depth Charge - Bounty Killer.Silly me, could never be bothered to listen to the entire track. So I found out that tune sampled Bootleggin', which kinda explains where The Prodigy got the break from. Have a listen: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m_7i4T58mq4 Which means that we've got a 2nd gen of the Bootleggin' break! If anyone has more examples of the Bounty Killer break (I doubt it though), I'll make a separate thread.

AnthonyDavid
Oh yesss, that's a nice tune. Possibly the best tune of that label (rest was well sloppy!)
