  1. No probs, I actually thought at one point the real vibes section of the record was some kind of Laurel Aitken tribute put together by pascal or something not an actual tune! I dunno with categorising things, I think that sort of thing is left for you lot, hah! I guess you'd only mention it in both categories if there was the same house record but with the burial on it but I guess there is interest, as it is, by the look of it at least a jungle record. dunno, I'm not gonna go there, cause if you've seen the order of my record collection you won't ask me too either.
  2. Yeah, I wonder if where the things get printed the whites may be cut from a block of scrap labels, which are the backs of misprints/where the solvent has been over exposed or whatever so the back is used as the card is blank on that side to save waste & what I've done is just soaked the layer off between the white backing and the front glossy/less porous side of the paper (which would reveal a reversed image) come to think of it, I'm an idiot if that is the reason Sod Knows what happened with your Leviticus Pressing, lol @ the wax boys selling it on unmarked, they probably had a few of em at a guess. Never really looked into the 'bargain bin' there. was it even a bargain bin? seem to remember a sort of shelf to the right near the customer decks though with a few cards/flyers, & a couple of what looked like the things they couldn't get rid of that week.
  3. haha, I would have been screwing about that one Then again, maybe worth a few bob to some collector nut I wonder how that happened, how many of those got through bit of a different thing, had mystical influence & sniper tune on white label around 96, tune was the tune it was supposed to be anyway to cut a long story short had to soak the label off & under it on one side the label was a Positiva one but in reverse! A Lisa Marie Experience tune & the other side a Shadowman tune on faze 2 - also reversed furthermore http://img6.imageshack.us/img6/9119/img2660e.jpg http://img708.imageshack.us/img708/531/img2666p.jpg http://img6.imageshack.us/img6/9119/img2660e.jpg http://img708.imageshack.us/img708/531/img2666p.jpg obviously this was hidden so wasn't a problem or miss press maybe some labels are used as packers? you know to raise up the label so it doesn't move to the centre and fuck ya needle & a couple of blanks with one label slip through to another batch? dunno how it all works as it goes so not gonna speak like I do
  4. Ezee Haste, I can confirm this I've always thought the same, why the real vibes side was half a Laurel Aiken album thought about it this morning, that I have to dig it out as it's quite a jokes record. what we have here is the B side of this LP http://www.discogs.com/Laurel-Aitken-Woppi-King-The-Early-Reggae-Years-1968-1969-Vol-1/release/2170739 I'm kinda glad in a way, got 6 good ska tunes in the bargain, & I like them better than the tune they were supposed to be, hah!
