Ornette
Break name: When The Levee Breaks Artist: Led ZeppelinTrack name: When The Levee BreaksOriginal release: LP, Led Zeppelin - IVLabel: AtlanticCat number:Year: 1971Drummer: John Bonham Examples: DJ Trace - Damn Son [No U-Turn]Ray Keith - Who The Hell Am I? [Chronic] Notes: Well the album cover is a bit odd, innit. Rather unsettling when I saw it a while back. But what a break. Immortalised for me by an old 1988 hip-hop track called "Crank Up The Bass" by the Todd Terry produced group Kaos... Clip here

Guest blah
that break is heavy even for a rock group, I remember being shocked when I first found that out when someone played a led zeppelin greatest hits album as for years I though it was from some dub track that had the same break on it .wish I still had that dub track but don't even remember what is was, heavy but simple break though . theorie
I have this lp, along with loads of other late 60's/early 70's lps in a massive tea-chest under my TV. Can't remember this particular song/break any chance of a clip to save my back? 'Black Dog' was always my favourite

theorie
My fave ever tune apparently, according to Jon Theorie That's what you said? I asked you: "What do you think is the best label; Ram; Metalheadz; Moving Shadow or Reinforced?" And you said: "None of them! They're crap! Urban Takeover is the best label ever and 'Bad Ass / Drop Top Caddy' is the best 12" ever"
