I'll be playing at Genre, a wicked little night in London held every week at Wax Jambu. Associated with the Insession club that I played at a little while back it has a pretty much anything goes music policy so the nights are always pretty varied and there's a great selection of DJs passing through on a regular basis

No ideas what I'll be playing yet but I'm there for three hours on the 29th August so come down and have a drink if you fancy some tunes on the bank holiday weekend. Joining me on the night will be DJ Flight who I'm sure will be laying down some wicked beats.

The venue is Wax Jambu, 141-145 Upper Street, Islington and the night runs from 8 all the way through to 2am.

August guests at Genre...

Saturday 1st August -     REFERENCE (REPRISE) & SPY (HOSPITAL)
Saturday 8th August -     TENDAI (SWERVE) & BENSAMBA (WPS)
Saturday 15th August -   SMJ (BULLDOZER) & FLIGHT (METALHEADZ)
Saturday 22nd August -  KASRA (CRITICAL) & CRAGGZ (VALVE)
Saturday 29th August  -  FLIGHT (METALHEADZ) & HASTE (ROLLDABEATS)

Flyers added. Don't really know what music styles to expect. I would have thought I'll have a load of random stuff in the bag but almost certainly no hard jungle.

Most likely will be a mix of 80s dancey stuff, some early breakbeat hardcore (maybe!?) and who knows what else. Might chuck a bit of atmostpheric dnb in at some point.

Should be a fun night and it's a cool little bar. The more the merrier so please come down and party the night away with me, I'm sure there'll be a nice little crew down for the evening  B-)
