droid
Thanks to Simon Reynolds for this one: Fadela - N'Sel Fik - Palatine. Factory records 1987 'weareie'... as sampled by Lennie De Ice on weareie. Although there's no clean vocal on this clip above, there must've been another version as this is definitely the sample source.
eXtreme
I haven't listened to it for years but i seem to remember the sample clean on the Bomb the Bass album 'Into the Dragon' ? Just a guess at the mo, need to have a listen
haste
Yup, it was definitely taken from that Bomb The Bass album. It's clean on there
droid
OK cool - so this is more of an original source than the actual sample source.
mikeeee-mk2
This sample is also featured on a DJ scratch tool / acappella record, the name of which escapes me. I'd say this is definitely where Lennie De Ice sampled it from, as the "lemme hear you scream" vocal and the vinyl spinback noise also used in We Are IE, can also be found on the same record. haste
Ah nice, would be cool to try and track down the name of that one then!
haste
Full audio of the original tune Name seems to be Chaba Fadela & Cheb Sahraoui - N'Sel Fik on there

The 'we are E' sample and 'lemme hear you scream' are on side B, the spinback noise isn't though - must've imagined that...
