Blew me away that there was any serious scene out there. How did you get into it? I'm down in the penis of America...Miami, Florida! The scene down here is all but pretty much dead. There are a few dnb parties...monthlies...etc that still go on, but the peak was mid to late 90's. I started going to shows up in Orlando in late 94' which is where I was first introduced to jungle. I've been in love ever since. Beatcamp was the big weekly down here from 97-00. T.S. Heritage ( aka Tea Farmer) one of the originators, actually had a small 3 release label called "Boosted" Recs. Marco from Influx Datum was also part of the Beatcamp crew.....I started spinning back in 98'. Other than my internet show now, I don't play out too much anymore. I don't think your missing out on much now...The scene over here has been right on it's ass for the best part of 10 years in my opinion! haha If you like your late 90's darkside then you should keep an ear on Rude Fm if you don't already..Theres a nice techstep revival starting to creep back in.
