Ornette
Just sorting out all my favourites, working out what sites I actually visit and which ones I don't... ...when I thought: "Hmmm, wouldn't it be cool if rdb had its own fav-icon". Any chance of this happening?

Phokus
Don't think it works in Internet Explorer though.
haste
IE is shit...some favicons seem to not work at all in it. Firefox is the way forward!
Phokus
Indeed it is Shame I can't get away with installing it at work!
Ornette
No it doesn't work in IE... checking the Temporary Internet Cache reveals a menagerie of different favicon.ico files I assume it must be in .ICO format, not .PNG. I don't know how they link a favourite icon into the HTML code, but I'll look it up
haste
Maybe it does have to be in ico format for IE to recognise it. I'll swtich it across...god, I hate IE
MR2
Don't think it works in Internet Explorer though. Yeah I've noticed this, works in Mozilla Firefox though, Explorer is kinda old skool anyway!

Ornette
Uaahhh! blasphemy! I must say that from the very first I thought Mozilla was rubbish too, because it was big, bulky and would'nt run very well on slower computers - i.e. 486 class. Internet Explorer 4.1 SP1 (with active desktop DISABLED)? Yeah not too bad. Netscape Navigator 4.6? Yeh nice & fast! Mozilla Seamonkey build 5.0.18.2000101009? What the hell is this shite I'll have to dig out my DX4 100mhz and see if it'll run on that. If it doesn't, then I'm afraid I'll have to side with you, Logic
Ornette
Maybe it does have to be in ico format for IE to recognise it. I'll swtich it across...god, I hate IE I don't know how you link the favorite icon for Firefox, but for Internet Explorer: Create a 'icon' file in ICO format, call it favicon.ico, and place it in your website root - i.e. www.rolldabeats.com/favicon.icoInternet Explorer will automatically detect for this file and implement accordingly. I assume you can just leave the PNG file already there as is? I'm sure the two wont conflict with each other. Hey - check it out - I done the ICO file with a 16x16 and a 32x32 all included! http://www.tradezone.ltd.uk/tarzanstuff/favicon.ico Easy
thijs
will upload the ico file later this evening
Ornette
Looks like I may have not been 100% correct. The icon's only showing for this URL: http://www.rolldabeats.com/forum/index.php but not for any other pages under it, and no show on the front page either.
