eXtreme
Scratched into the run-off it says "A Rydim Factory Production" so i guess thats the Artist (& not the pressing plant ) Rydim Factory was also hand written on the sleeve, but you cant really go by that anyway. jj
I've always known this release as Extreme Minds Volume 1. It was called this in all the reviews and charts I saw in Autumn 1993 and I've had a few copies with this on the sleeve.
eXtreme
i think that should be added as the EP title too. 'porky prime cut' is the pressing plant so cant be confused with that, Does anyone else have 'A Rydim Factory Production' scratched into their copy ? looks like the original writing aswell, not just a previous vinyl owner doing a DIY job. haste
Sounds like Rydim Factory is the artist...."A Porky Prime Cut" is what Porky's Mastering used to write on all the tunes they mastered

iamdek
i think that should be added as the EP title too. Does anyone else have 'A Rydim Factory Production' scratched into their copy ? Yep ... I have. Just listening to this right now and it's a cracking bit of 93 darkside [edit] Side 2 of this sounds like it has to be an alias for Subnation/W. Wilson .... .... B2 even has the Scottie break part of the way through it!
Ornette
Bump EP title: Extreme Minds Volume 1 I remember this 12"
Ornette
http://www.rolldabeats.com/artist/rydim_factory Found another Rydim Factory reference. Its on the label of http://www.rolldabeats.com/release/baby_blue_records/blu011 , another very Subnation-ish tune I'm convinced Rydim Factory should be made alias of Subnation - indeed Discogs has this FUTURE2 listed as Subnation  ? jj
I don't think we should assume that the artist name is "Rydim Factory". For example "Rydim Factory" could have been the name of their studio. Here's an interesting Future Vinyl label article from 1994: http://ravearchive.com/zines/cha/cha5.pdf Until we have some more concrete information, Extreme Minds Volume 1 should be the only info used for this release. A few other bits of info from that article: Label owners = Phil Taylor & Wayne Wilson It also suggests that this release was Future Vinyl #1 http://www.rolldabeats.com/label/future_recordings ...and confirms that Mercyless should be a related label to Future Vinyl
Ornette
Ok I guess that makes: http://www.rolldabeats.com/person/wayne_wilson this person: http://www.rolldabeats.com/person/w_wilson
Ornette
Here's an interesting Future Vinyl label article from 1994: http://ravearchive.com/zines/cha/cha5.pdf It also suggests that this release was Future Vinyl #1http://www.rolldabeats.com/release/future_recordings/future1 Ok a bit of new information further to this here. It would seem the release "Futureworld" b/w "Spinechiller" is not by Warrior Bass, or a Future Vinyl release at all. I've just listened to a clip and its certainly not a early mix of "Future World (Utopia)" & a person on Discogs zak111 has actually claimed credit for this, crediting to artist Minds At Large I therefore suggest http://www.rolldabeats.com/release/future_vinyl/future1/ gets moved to label White label ... and http://www.rolldabeats.com/release/future_recordings/future1 is put in place as the correct first release of Future Vinyl, with a note on the release saying: 'States "Future Recordings" As Label Name', in much the same way as FC001 does I'll post up in its release thread as well.
