Jo R-Type repress

I thought this was an official repress - dodgy label indeed, but official, with the proper B side and the correct cat numbers etched.

Pressed off the masters I thought. And I got my one in 2001 along with the Champion Sound re-press. Is Haste talking about the R-Type that Shy FX licenced/repressed for his Ebony label?

Thanks for clearing that up. I actually think the b-side is the true classic!

I'm talking about the one with the white on black label, not the Shy FX one.

Pretty sure it was an official repress. Pretty sure it came out before the Champion Sound repress, I remember getting that later on.

Mine is black letters on white? (And so is Synthetics?)

Does that mean two represses - as, I have to say, represses do sell out quickly - especially classics like "R-Type"

To casually pick one up in 2001, being 2 whole years after your reckoning of a 1999 release, seems a bit unlikely

Nah...I meant black on white, not white on black.

I also thought that this was something to do with IMO bt seeing as I think there was some link with Slipmatt and them this is why this repress was official and not their usual bootleg nonsense

Yes mine is black letters on a white label.

The reason I am suspicious is because of the IMO connection. I did not buy the release from them but they once sold me a bootleg of another record.

Must pick up the original R-Type on ebay someday.
