this is a clip of a Lion Heart Records dubplate that DJ Influence that sometimes posts on here has. Dubplate flipside is the released track Lionheart.

 

any ideas on a name?

Just cos it's on the flip of a Dillinja track on the dub doens't mean it's actually by him...it could be anything!

this is more the 'b side' experimental style like Moods or Heavenly Bass.

 

His bass sound too (bass is abit distorted in the clip) & i should have made a longer clip, classic dillinja amen comes in ..

This should probably be in the tune ID section for a few months before it goes into the unreleased section. Definitely a Dillinja tune.

 

I've got this tune on one or two tapes - when I remember which sets I'll post a clip from the sets.

My PC was misbehaving and playing the clip in double time when I first heard it hence my "this sounds nothing like Dillinja" post :rolleyes:

 

I can see the similarities but I still stand by the fact that, just cos it's on the flip of a dillinja tune on dub it doesn't mean it's also by him. If there's a longer clip that would be cool to hear.

 

What happened about that other 94 thing by dillinja that we had up here. Maybe we could try and get these clips to him somehow...I know a man who might be able to help....long shot, though

Dillinja's AIM is "valverecordings"... He'll probably listen to them if you send them through... Zip them or something though so he can see they're all together

I had a look just now and found one set - Randall @ Temptation & United Dance 20.05.1994.

This is on a '94 DJ Ron tape, Christmas special at Roast I believe
